2022 Subaru Legacy | 4 Door Sedan
“Phenomenal service with a great price to match. I’d like to point out to you guys that despite JL Alpha being advertised as a higher price than Safelite, I ended up saving nearly 50% by using JL Alpha. Safelite charges low prices for their windshields, but then try to hit you with a whopping $750 fee to recalibrate your safety systems. While JL has a higher price for the windshield itself, the recalibration fee has already been built into their pricing model, so there’s no surprise fee once setting things up. I paid JL Alpha $560 for a mobile service that was out of state for them. Safelite was going to charge me $1227 and I was going to need to bring my car into one of their locations for the work. As such, I believe you should change how you represent JL Alpha as the more expensive option compared to Safelite. Maybe if I had an older car with no safety sensors, Safelite would have been cheaper. But as it is, they were far more expensive, despite being listed as nearly a 40% discount to JL Alpha. To add to this, I reached out to JL via text on a Friday evening around 8:00pm. I was meeting them in a different state by 2:00pm the next day, Saturday. You can’t really beat that in my opinion. The last time I used Safelite’s mobile service, there was about a 1 week wait period before they could send someone out to me. I’m very happy with the service I received from JL Alpha Auto Glass. ”

The auto glass shop will walk you through the process of correctly identifying your windshield options.
Do Glass.net auto glass shops do windshield repairs, or only windshield replacements?
It depends on the shop. Many do offer windshield repair, so talk to your chosen auto glass shop about this option. Insurance companies suggest that your windshield be replaced if the damage is in the direct line of view of the driver, or if it is larger than 6 inches, or about the size of a dollar bill.
